About Simons Halal Food

For over 40 years we have been producing and packaging halal certified cold cuts and meat products. This is done from our modern production site in Roermond. Owing to advanced techniques, our location is currently one of the largest and most modern in Europe. We supply high-quality halal products to our loyal clientele of importers, distributors and wholesalers throughout Europe, the Middle East, North Africa and Asia.

Halal

The Islamic term halal (Arabic: حَلاَلْ) means pure, permitted and describes everything that is tolerable according to Islam. This includes what is good for humans, animals, the environment and society. Its origin, the method of slaughter and the method of preparation determine whether food is halal. So, a number of permitted animals are slaughtered in a special way after they have had a good life. To guarantee the quality of our products, accredited halal organizations inspect whether our meat products are produced according to the applicable guidelines.
